OAKVILLE - Marie F. (Frino) Daddario age 86 of Oakville passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Frederick J. Daddario. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and all who knew and loved her.
Marie was born September 3, 1930 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Emil and Mary (Cipriano) Frino. She was a graduate of Watertown High School Class of 1948 and received her nursing degree from Waterbury Hospital School of Nursing. Marie was a talented, caring, and well respected registered nurse, worked for several area hospitals and nursing homes, and held administrative positions. Marie served as a mentor to many medical professionals. She was a member of the Waterbury Hospital Nursing Association, enjoyed gardening and cooking but most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband Fred of 53 years Marie is survived by her sons Frederick E. Daddario of New London, CT, Paul E. Daddario and his wife Janet of Oakville, in addition to her brothers Michael Frino of NJ and Louis R. Frino and his wife Alice of FL as well as her grandchildren William, Nathan and Ruby.
Funeral services for Mrs. Daddario will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 4 Buckingham St. Oakville, CT at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours will be held Monday morning at The O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street, Oakville, CT 06779 from 9:00am until 10:30am.
