WATERBURY - Mariely Evette Cruz age 30 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly on Monday September 23, 2019 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Mariely was born June 16th 1989 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Epifanio and Maribel (Ramos) Cruz. She was a graduate of Conard High School in West Hartford and was currently continuing her studies at Capital Community College where she was studying Child Psychology and working as a tutor. Mariely loved music and enjoyed singing, spending time with her family shopping and helping others. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her legacy besides her mother, Maribel are he stepfather Francis Sanchez, her father and stepmother Epifanio and Gladys Cruz of Plainville, her brother, Eddie Nelson Cruz of Waterbury, her sister Josiane Bailon, her grandmother, Carmen Ramos and her husband, Sixto of Waterbury as well as her niece, two nephews other extended family members and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cruz will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main Street @ Southmayd Road, Waterbury. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Mariely family on Saturday afternoon from 12:00pm until the time of the service at 2:00pm.
