Our beloved Marion Louise Seaborn Whyte went home to Jesus on May 23, 2020 at age 75.
Marion was born to the late Robert and Abbie Peebles Seaborn on March 1, 1945 in Greenville County, VA. She was educated in the Greensville County School System. At an early age Marion initially moved to Baltimore, MD, and subsequently, Waterbury CT. She gave her life to Christ as a longtime member of Zion Baptist Church, Waterbury, CT., and was a longtime diligent affiliate of The New Deliverance Church of God in Christ also in Waterbury, CT.
Throughout Marion's life she was employed by Uniroyal Rubber Company, Naugatuck, CT, New Departure, Bristol, CT, Southbury Training School, Southbury, CT, and The Kennedy Center, Southbury, CT were she then retired.
Marion was a devoted Mother, Sister, Friend, and adored as a Mother and Aunt to many. She loved life and people. She had a heart of gold. She always gave to others and never expected anything in return. She had a smile that was captivating and was always ready to listen, never judging. She spent her time enjoying her family and friends. She will truly be missed, but never forgotten, as she lives within our hearts with her loving arms wrapped around us.
Marion was preceded in death by one brother, John H. Seaborn, Sr., of Greensville County, VA, and 1 sister, Barbara M. Wilson. Marion leaves to cherish the memories of her life to her devoted daughter, Jolanda M. Whyte-Byrd and her son in law, Harold Byrd of Henrico, VA, daughter, Janice Lovett McLean, and her son in law, William Mclean of Waterbury, CT, Godson, Eddie Hicks, Jr. and his wife, Constance Hicks, of North Chesterfield, VA, 1 sister, Paula Seaborn, MD. 4 brothers Robert Seaborn and his wife, Mable Seaborn, of VA Beach, VA, James C. Seaborn, Waterbury, CT., Ronald Seaborn, Greensville County, VA and Clarence Seaborn, Brunswick County, VA. Marion leaves 2 aunts, Martha McDonald of Waterbury, CT, Jerlean Moore and her husband, William Moore, of Emporia, VA.
Marion was predeceased by her granddaughter, Carlita Byrd of Henrico, VA, and leaves 1 granddaughter, Thumbsalina Byrd of Henrico, VA, 2 grandsons Tank Byrd of Henrico, VA., and Orlando Byrd and his wife, Marta Byrd of New York, NY, 1 great grandson, Xavier Byrd 4 devoted nieces, Samarra Hoff, Dacia Lovett, Ahviana Lovett, and Diamond Lovett of Waterbury, CT, and 2 devoted nephews, Kenneth Hoff and Jamal Lovett of Waterbury, CT
