THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MARION MARCIANO
WATERTOWN - Marion F. (Nuebert) Marciano, age 89 of Watertown, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2020 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Joseph Marciano.
Marion was born on February 3, 1931 in Waterbury CT the daughter of the late Robert Neubert and Florence (Seibert) Petrosky. Marion was raised in Waterbury and was a 1949 graduate of Wilby High School and to family and friends alike was known as "Mitzi". She moved to Watertown over twenty years ago to be closer to family and friends. In her younger years, Mitzi lived for a time in Vermont where she loved to ski. For the past six years she resided at Apple Health and Rehab of Watertown where she received excellent care and attention from all of the staff. The family would also like to extend special appreciation and acknowledge Dr Jega for his caring and compassion over the years caring for Marion. Prior to moving to Watertown, Mitzi lived in Merritt Island FL for many years working at Brevard Boat Sales and enjoying the beach. Mitzi especially enjoyed the holidays and celebrations with family and friends.
Among those left to cherish many wonderful memories are her niece Diane Hardt and her husband Lou and their son, Michael of Watertown, her great nephews, Robert Keller and his wife, Jennifer of Berlin and Christopher Keller. She also leaves her great, great nephew and niece, Eddie Soule and Kaydence Soule of Watertown, their mother, Krystie Soule and their grandmother Wanda Soule. Mitzi always enjoyed the family visits at Apple Rehab especially for holidays, birthdays and Halloween, In addition to her parents and her husband, Marion was predeceased by her sister, Ruth (Nuebert) Keller and her husband Edward T. Keller, her nephew, Edward T. Keller Jr and great nephew, Edward M. Keller.
Funeral services for Mrs Marciano were held privately and she and her husband were interred in Calvary Cemetery, together again, alongside her Father, Robert Neubert. The O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville was honored to assist the Marciano family during this difficult time.
