WATERBURY, CT -Marion A. Talmont, age 84 of Waterbury, passed away suddenly on June 6th, 2015, at Waterbury Hospital after a full and blessed life with her loving children and grandchildren. She was the beloved widow of Cornelius Talmont.
Marion was born November 22, 1930, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Swordowski) Bergenhas. She attended St. Joseph's School in Waterbury and worked for many years as a sales consultant at Howland Hughes Department Store in Waterbury. She was a passionate mother, outstanding cook, and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her family. She also loved to read and was often seen perusing the shelves at local bookstores.
Among her survivors are her loving children, Neil Talmont and his wife Lynn of Cromwell, Dennis Talmont and his wife Kathi of New Britain, Douglas Talmont and his companion Margaret Vitone of Waterbury; her grandchildren, Crystal, Keith, Amber, and Ryan Talmont, all of whom reside in Biddeford, Maine; Daniel Petranek of New Britain, Heather Talmont of Pennsylvania; Ashley Talmont of Kensington, and Christina Talmont of Providence, RI. She is also survived by a great-grandchild, Jordan Petranek. She is predeceased by her son Glenn Talmont.
Services for Mrs. Talmont will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
