WATERTOWN - Marjorie M. Christensen age 86, of Watertown passed away peacefully on Monday February 26, 2018 at Middlebury Convalescent Center after an extended illness. She was the widow of William C. Christensen.
Marjorie was born June 26, 1931 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth (Phelan) Creem. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School a long time parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville. Marjorie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and had always dedicated herself to the needs of her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them.
Among her survivors are her sons William Christensen and his wife, Deborah of South Windsor, CT; Brian Christensen of Melrose, MA; her daughters Donna Perrin and her husband, Mark of Bethlehem, CT; and Susan Masciangiolo and her husband Gene of Harwinton, CT. She also leaves her 11 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
The Christensen family would like to thank and acknowledge the doctors and staff at Middlebury Convalescent Center for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Marjorie and her family during her stay.
Funeral services for Mrs. Christensen will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
