NAUGATUCK: Marjorie S. (Scott) Coleman, age 74, of Osborne Rd. Naugatuck, died Saturday May 30th 2009 at Marathon Health Care in Prospect surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Daniel Coleman, her husband of 57 years.
Marjorie was born in Cambridge MA on September 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Robert and Anne (Rochefsky) Scott. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, playing on her computer and singing. She was an avid Red Sox fan and looked forward to her visits to Senior Care of Middlebury CT. She was employed for a time at Venus Consolidated.
Besides Daniel, her loving husband, Marjorie leaves her son, Daniel J. Coleman and his wife Charlotte of Waterbury, 4 daughters; Linda Cyphers and her husband Joseph of Mineville NY, Sherri Faureau and her husband Brian of Naugatuck, Susan Coleman of Mineville NY and Danielle Coleman of Waterbury. She also leaves a sister, Rita Bolduc of Naugatuck as well as 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her sisters, Roberta Scott and Mary Johnson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Coleman are private and will be held at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
