Waterbury Mark Edward Szczepanski - age 61, of Natalie Dr. Waterbury, entered into eternal life on November 4th at his home after an extended illness. He was the husband of Cindy (Fiore) Szczepanski.
Mr. Szczepanski was born December 19th 1949 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Theodore and Marjorie (Brown) Szczepanski. He was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and was an avid comic book collector and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Saint Leo the Great Church.
Besides his wife of 6 years, Cindy, Mark is survived by his son, Jeremy Szczepanski, his two step sons Richard Leone Jr. and his wife Sherri, and Christopher Leone, as well as "the angel of the house" his granddaughter, Gracie Leone.
Funeral services for Mr. Szczepanski will be held on Wednesday, November 9th 2011 at 9:00a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Saint Leo the Great Church, 14 Bentwood Dr., Waterbury. Those planning to attend are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
