AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
Waterbury, CT. Mrs. Martha E. Coulson -age 80 of Traverse St Waterbury died Friday July 24th 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was the wife of George Coulson.
Mrs. Coulson was born November 11th 1928 in Johnstown PA the daughter of the late James and Florence (Carnell) Morris. She grew up in the Shenandoah PA, where she met her husband George. They married March 29th 1948. They relocated to Waterbury in 1950 where she worked as an inspector for various manufacturing companies most recently the Risdon Corp. Her hobbies included Reading, Knitting, and Puzzles, she was a dedicated supporter of the Pulmonary Group at Saint Mary's hospital. and was a parishioner of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Waterbury.
Besides her husband George of 61 years Martha is survived by her daughter Cora Milewski and her husband Dennis of Meriden, a sister Eileen Kranch of Elizabethtown, PA, two grandchildren Christopher Piedescalzo, and Amber Bialczak and her husband Bobby, a great grandchild Grant Bialczak, as well as many nephews and nieces. She is pre-deceased by her four sisters Lillian, Betty, Julie, and Nancy.
A memorial service for Mrs. Coulson will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10:00 am at Saint John's Episcopal Church 15 Church St Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 Main St. Waterbury on Tuesday evening from 5:00 7:00 p.m. for a memorial gathering.
