Southbury - Mrs. Mary Elise (Beach) Bertrand ?" age 76 of Southbury formerly of Waterbury died peacefully in her sleep on August 10th 2009 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury.
Mary was born October 15th 1932 in Waterbury, CT. the daughter of the late Rufus and Elsie (Wilson) Beach.
Mary loved being with her children, nine grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She enjoyed seek and find puzzles, crafts, and read countless books each day as well as attending mass and bible studies at the Lutheran home.
Among her survivors are two sons William Bertrand and his wife Ana of Plymouth, Steven Bertrand and his wife Bette of Waterbury, three daughters Sharon DePietro and husband Roger of Waterbury, Dawn Dicrosta of Waterbury, and Mary Ellen Bertrand of Prospect. A brother Elmer Beach of CA, two sisters Jean Hart of Watertown, and Barbara Partiss of Waterbury. She is predeceased by her son Bruce and her two sisters Roberta Vallerand and Lois Beach.
Calling hours for Mrs. Bertrand will be held Wednesday August 12th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury. Funeral and burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
