AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME
WATERBURY: Ms. Mary Elizabeth Blewitt of Birchfield Dr. Waterbury, formerly of Lockhart Ave., Waterbury and a lifelong resident of Waterbury, died peacefully on Friday June 22, 2012 at Masonicare, Wallingford after a long illness.
Mary was born in Waterbury on December 15, 1951, the daughter of Edmund Blewitt of Plantsville, formerly of Waterbury and the late Marguerite E. (Shea) Blewitt. Mary was a long-time member of the W.A.R. C. and participated in its workshops and activities. She was a parishioner of SS Peter & Paul Church in Waterbury.
In addition to her father, Mary is survived by several cousins. She also leaves her caregivers and friends at the Oak Hill-Birchfield Dr. Group Homes where she always received excellent and loving care for many years.
Funeral services for Ms. Blewitt will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 212 at 9:00a.m. from the Casey O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury to Saints Peter and Paul Church, Southmayd Rd Waterbury to Celebrate the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Rites of Committal and Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Visiting hours for Ms Blewitt will be on Tuesday morning from 8:00 till 9:00a.m.at the funeral home.
