Mary Eileen Morrill

AT THE CASEY - O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - Waterbury Mary Eileen (Harrington) Morrill age 89, of Wyoming Ave Waterbury died peacefully Wednesday July 13, 2011 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of Robert B. Morrill who passed away in January of 2003.

Mrs. Morrill was born May 30, 1922 in Boston MA the daughter of the late Gerard and Edna (Driscoll) Harrington. She was a graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls and was a medical claims investigator for Liberty Mutual Insurance for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, loved her trips to the Friday night races as well as to the casinos. Eileen was a longtime resident of the Gilmartin section of Waterbury where she enjoyed many good friendships and activities. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church where she was also a past member of the Ladies Guild.

Among her survivors are her daughters, Maureen Morrill-Jones and her husband Cliff of Warren CT, Margie Ann Dunn and her husband David of Naugatuck and her son, Robert Morrill and his wife Madeline also of Naugatuck. She also leaves 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Morrill will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 8:30am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St. Waterbury, to St Francis Xavier Church, Baldwin St Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday evening, from 5:00 till 8:00pm.
