PROSPECT - Mrs. Mary A. Kologe age 92 of Prospect, passed away peacefully at Glendale Health Care Center in Naugatuck surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the widow of Andrew Kologe

Mrs. Kologe was born May 11th 1922 in Greenville NY, the daughter of the late William & Blanche (Reice) Trykala. She grew up and was educated in the Greenville area prior to moving to CT. She spent many years as a bench worker for Hayden Switch & Instrument in Waterbury prior to her retirement. She enjoyed trips to the casino, crocheting and spending time with her family and she was a parishioner of Saint Anthony Church in Prospect. Mary's greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary and her husband andrew were always available and jumped at the opportunity to spend time with them whether it was watching them after school or taking them to a doctor's appointment.

Among her survivors are her children, Robert Kologe and his wife Donna of Thomaston and Elizabeth "Betty" Sheehan of Oakville. She also leaves her grandchildren, Katie Pelletier and her husband Eric, Lauren Pelletier and her husband Gary, Jordan Kologe, and Mary Sheehan as well as her great grandchildren Daniel, Joshua and Mckenzie. She is pre-deceased by her son-in-law James Sheehan as well as her brother and four sisters.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Kologe will be held on Friday, October 31st 2014 in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Eastside Memorial "A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center" has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
