WATERBURY - Mrs. Mary Louise "Mary Lou" Lawrence age 65, of Gus Street, Naugatuck, passed away on unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, February 14, 2013. She was the wife of Thomas Lawrence.
Mary Lou was born September 28th 1947 in Waltham MA the daughter of the late Grant and Frances (Bradley) Wallace. She was raised and educated in the Waltham area and worked as a telephone operator for several years before her marriage, which led her to Connecticut. After moving to CT she dedicated herself to raising her family and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She also worked for Laboratory Medicine for the past several years as a driver/delivery representative. She enjoyed spending time at home with her children and was an avid cat lover.
Besides her husband Thomas of 35 years, Mary Lou is survived by her two children, Michael and Jennifer Lawrence of Naugatuck as well as her sisters, Elinor Wallace of Florida and Claire Brown of Boston as well as two nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
