WATERBURY - Mary Lou Nolan, age 81 of Waterbury passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, February 8, 2016.
Mary Lou was born on January 28, 1935 in Waterbury the daughter of the late George T. and Olive C. (Hamilon) Nolan. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and worked as a Sales Manager for Chase Brass and Copper and then Waltec American Forgings Inc .of Waterbury. Mary Lou was an avid UCONN Huskies Womens Basketball fan as well as a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Mary Lou also enjoyed golfing at Farmingbury Hills. She was one of the most unselfish, kindest, caring persons anyone would have had the good fortune of knowing. She was constantly thinking of others above herself. She will be missed by her devoted family and friends
Mary Lou is survived by her three brothers, George and his wife, Madeline of Waterbury, James and his wife, MaryAnn of Orange and Patrick and his ex-wife and best friend, Judith Ann of Waterbury. She also leaves several, beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ms. Nolan are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd.
