MARY A. (MASSARELLI) MONTEROSE
OAKVILLE- Mary A. (Massarelli) Monterose, 99 formerly of Van Orman Street, died Saturday at Watertown Convalarium. She was the widow of Anthony S. Monterose.
Mary was born June 12, 1908 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Libero and Gilda (Barcozza) Massarelli and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was educated in Waterbury Schools. Prior to her retirement she was employed at the former Clock Shop in Waterbury where she worked for several years. Mary also loved to cook, crochet and knit.
She leaves two daughters Elaine A. Semeraro of Watertown, Cynthia M. Graham of Watertown, NY., six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. The O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street has been entrusted with arrangements.
