THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MARY PERRELLA

WOLCOTT - Mary A. Perrella, age 93, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Tuesday, November 26th 2019 at The Vitas Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital.

Mary was born September 29th 1926 in Bristol, RI, the daughter of the late Paul and Louise (Delvecchio) Minuto. She was raised and educated in the Bristol, RI area and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School. Mary worked as a timekeeper at the former Uniroyal Company and then as a sales clerk at GC Murphy Department store and spent many years working as an office manager for Dr. Rocco Cornacchia until her retirement. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and was active is several community groups in the Wolcott area and always looked forward to taking day trips with her friends, especially bus trips to the casino. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and all who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to cherish her memory and honor Mary's love and legacy are her son, Gary Perrella of Waterbury, her grandchildren, Pricilla DiMichele and Jacob DiMichele as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members. She is predeceased by her siblings; Alice Geremia, Margaret Holliday, Nicholas Minuto, Jenny Porto, and Frank Minuto.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Perrella will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury, Ct 06705. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck.
