WATERBURY - Mrs. Mary J. Sandulli, age 57 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary's Hospital on Monday, May 15th 2017 after a brief illness. She was the widow of Robert Sandulli.
Mary was born December 18th 1959 in New Haven, CT, the daughter of the late Alphonse and Madeline (Fusaris) Barile. She was raised in Cheshire where she attended local schools and was a graduate of Cheshire High School. Mary spent many years working as an EMT- 911 Communications Operator for the former MedStar Ambulance, now known as American Medical Response of CT. Mary loved working as an EMT and helping others in need and was an avid cat lover and enjoyed spoiling her favorite cat "scamper". What brought the greatest joy to Mary was spending time with her granddaughter, Isabella whom she adored and cherished.
Among her survivors are her daughters, Emily Sandulli and her fiancé, Kenneth Gotay of Wolcott, Elizabeth Sandulli of New Britain, in addition to her sister, Madeline "Lynn" Negretti-Cagno of Wolcott and her granddaughter, Isabella as well as several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Anna Barile.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Sandulli will be held on Sunday May 21st 2017 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury at 3:00pm Friends and family may visit with Mary's family at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2:00pm until the time of the service.
