Waterbury - Maryellen (Bedell) Andrzejewski passed away peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on February 24, 2017 after a brief illness.
Maryellen was born on August 16, 1960 daughter of the late John and Anne (Gilfoile) Bedell. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and received a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from Naugatuck Valley Community College and Central Connecticut State University and had aspirations as to be a writer. Mary spent many years as a Paramedic for American Medical Response of CT and her main interests were reading and writing. What was most important to Mary was her family whom she adored and enjoyed spending time with especially her grandchildren.
Besides her husband Anthony of many years she leaves behind her beloved sons Nicholas of Waterbury, Anthony, Jr. and his wife Valarie, and David and his wife Lynette; her daughter Laura Bolton and her husband Dom of Waterbury; and her three beloved grandchildren in addition to her sister Katie Weitzel and her husband Tony.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Andrzejewski will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 1:00 at The First Congregational Church of Waterbury at 222 West Main Street, Waterbury where a memorial service will be held. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
