Was the pride and joy of her family
WATERBURY - Ms. Maura C. Brennan age 65 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
Maura was born on December 8, 1955 in Waterbury the daughter of the late John and Marylou (Dwyer) Brennan. She was educated in local schools and currently employed at CW Resources in the bottling division. Even though Maura was an adult with special needs, she was intelligent, competent, and worthy of great respect and love and she was the center of her large family. Her six sisters were always supporting her and were her constant companions and caregivers. Maura enjoyed spending time on her computer, playing word puzzles and games and collecting t-shirts. But what Maura loved most was being with her family, sisters and all of her nieces and nephews. Maura will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters; Jeanne Brennan of Cheshire, Cathleen Chaikowski and her husband David of Wolcott, Tara Brennan of Waterbury, Marcia Jolly of Waterbury, Marita Brennan and her fiancé Reggie Lombard of Watertown and Sheila Brennan of Waterbury. She also leaves her nieces and nephews Jennifer and her husband John, Michael and his wife Alyssa, Christopher, Lauren, Nicole, a grandniece Violet and grandnephews Logan and Jayce all whom she had a special bond with. Also left to mourn her loss is her social worker of many years, Rene D'Onfrio and longtime friend Joan Thompson.
