WATERTOWN- Maureen J. Davis, age 72 of Hollow Road died Saturday May 9th 2009 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of William Davis.
Maureen was born August 24th 1936 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Julia Carmody. She was dedicated a loving homemaker who was always willing to help others. She held various part time jobs including working for eyelet crafters in Waterbury and Shop Rite. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, and watching birds.
Among her survivors are three daughters; Sandy Ciriello of Watertown, Shirlene Belus and her husband Dave of Albany, NY. and, Patricia Charbonneau and her husband Robert of Watertown, two sons Thomas Davis of Watertown, William Davis Jr. of Oakville. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial for Mrs. Davis will be privately and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
