Waterbury, CT; Mr. Maurice Silva, age 83, of 24 Union St, Apt602 Waterbury, died December 09, 2007 unexpectedly at his home. Mr. Silva was the husband of the late Margaret (Howell) Silva.
Mr. Silva was born December 24, 1923 in Canton, MA, son of the late Severino and Benvinda (Rodrigues) Silva. He was employed for many years as a welder for M.J. Daley in Waterbury until his retirement. He enjoyed photography and traveling with his wife.
Mr. Silva is survived by his son Joseph Silva of Irving Texas, his daughter Maureen Pisciotta Monk of Carrollton Texas, his step son Brian Haney of North Carolina, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
A graveside funeral service for Mr. Silva will be on Wednesday December 12 at 12:00 noon at All Saint Cemetery Spring Lake Rd. Waterbury.
