THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF MICHAEL E. LAWLOR
WATERTOWN - Michael E. Lawlor, age 62 of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family and friends, after an extended illness. He was the husband of Lisa (Guglielmetti) Lawlor and the son of Edward Lawlor.
Michael was born June 16, 1956 in Waterbury CT, the son of Edward and the late Barbara (Tyler) Lawlor. Michael was a graduate of Watertown High School, where he was a standout athlete in both baseball and soccer. He was a member of the state championship team with the American Legion Post 195 in 1972 as their third baseman. He was a graduate of CCSU and worked at Waterbury Hospital for 30 years as a psychiatric clinician. He was an avid NY Yankees and Giants fan and coached Little League, WOAC travel baseball and WAYS youth soccer. He adored his pet dogs, was a music lover, but most of all he was devoted to his wife and family. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Besides his wife Lisa of 36 years, his high school sweetheart and his Dad, he leaves his son, Ben and his wife, Shayna of Seymour, his two brothers, Raymond and his wife Karen of Watertown, Eric and his wife Dawn of Bethlehem, his nieces and nephews, Katherine, Matthew, Julia, Garrett, Evan and Jessica, and his sister-in-law and lunch-partner, Elaine Crane and her husband Tom. Michael was predeceased by his Dad's wife, Shirley Lawlor.
Funeral services for Mr. Lawlor will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. when a Service of Remembrance will be held at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Michael's family on Saturday morning from 9:00 till the service at 11:00 am.
