Michael E. Taweh, 71, of 36 Virginia Ave. Waterbury, CT passed away on Feb. 13th 2009 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Zahle, Lebanon the son of the late Elias Taweh and Isabel Lian. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather to thirteen.

He immensely enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a pillar of the Lebanese community and touched the lives of all those who have known him. He will be greatly missed by everybody who came to know him and learn from his wisdom, decency, and unparalleled dedication to his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his wife Nadia, sons Elias, George, Ziad M. and daughters Isabel Bolton and Gisele Frank and their families all of CT. He is also survived by his sisters Adele Eid, Elvire Ashkar, Rosette Braidy of Phoenix, AZ and brother John, sisters Mary Debs, Nadia Ashkar, and Sister Noha Taweh of Zahle, Lebanon.

Funeral services for Mr. Taweh will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at 10:00am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury to Our Lady of Lebanon Church 8 East Mountain rd. Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 ?" 8:00pm.
