AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - WATERBURY Mildred (Leopold) Fitzgerald, age 86, of Gaylord Dr, Waterbury, died Sunday March 13, 2011 at the Paradigm Health Center in Waterbury after an extended illness.
Mildred was born on February 8, 1825 in Covington Kentucky and worked for many years as a nursing aide before her retirement. Mildred was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother and will be forever loved and remembered. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Mildred is survived by her son Dale Wilson and his wife Bridget of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, her daughter-in-law Nancy Wilson of Wolcott, Connecticut, grandchildren Alexis, Adrianne, Hayley, and Forrest Wilson, and her brother, Donald Leopold of Cincinnati Ohio along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Barry Wilson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fitzgerald will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 183 Robbins St Waterbury at 10:00am. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
