Millicent Breen

July 8, 1919 — January 10, 2009

Millicent E. Breen ?" age 89 of Wolcott, died January 10th at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton, MA after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Breen.

Mrs. Breen was born July 8th 1919 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late John J. and Anna (Barrett) Wooster. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and a retiree of the Mattatuck Mfg Co. She returned to Waterbury in 1990 after residing in Kissimmee, Fl for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church and was a dedicated Red Sox fan. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 14 grandchildren which she was very proud of, she will be sadly missed by all her family.

Among her survivors are her daughters Patricia A Guilfoy and her husband Norman of Middleboro, MA; Katherine (Lemay) Breen of St. Maarten, her sons and their wives Robert J & Nancy Breen of Plantsville; and John J. & Dawn Breen of Waterbury. She is also survived by her identical twin sister Mildred (Caulfield) Clark, of Waterbury; her sister Helen (Reeves) Box, of Alabama; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her son Richard and her brothers John & Howard Wooster.

Funeral services for Mrs. Breen will be held on Thursday, January 15th at 10:00am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7pm.Memorial Donation may be made to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church.
