ROCKY HILL - Mr. Milton A. Daniels, age 53 of Rocky Hill, formerly of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 16th 2016 after a brief illness.
Mr. Daniels was born April 5th 1962 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Milton A. Daniels Sr. and Diana M. (Adamek) Daniels. Milton was educated in Waterbury and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially birthday and holiday gatherings. He enjoyed playing cards, chess and checkers and dining out at local restaurants where he almost always had steak dinners. He was an avid Elvis Presley enthusiast and was planning his trip of a lifetime to Memphis.
The Daniels family would like to thank the staff at Guardian ad Litem Services for their dedication and endless support over the years and would also like to acknowledge the staff and caretakers at 60 West in Rocky Hill for the compassionate care they provided to Milton during his stay there over the last year and a half.
Among his survivors are his sisters, Debra Daniels of Wolcott, Donna-Jean Lavoie and her husband, Robert of Plantsville and his nephew, Justin Daniels and niece, Amanda Lavoie as well as his close friend, George.
Funeral Services for Mr. Daniels will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd. in Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Milton's family on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 10:00 at the funeral home.
