Waterbury, CT. ?" Carmen T. (Roman) Dauch, age 77, of East Main Street, Waterbury, died Friday at the Cheshire House after a brief illness. She was the wife of Arthur Dauch.
Carmen was born September 14, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY., the only daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa (Augustini) Roman and was a lifelong resident of Waterbury. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed in the Data Entry division of the Travelers Insurance where she worked for over 20 years. Carmen was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed trips to the casino and was an accomplished seamstress. She was especially fond of spending quality time with her grandchildren.
Besides her loving husband of 59 years Carmen leaves a son, Frederick Dauch of Waterbury and a daughter Linda Perugini of Prospect, four grandchildren; Loreen Perugini, Frederick Dauch, Tisha Dauch, Karrie Belisle as well as seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dauch will be held on Monday, December 15, 2009 at 9 a.m. from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home. 1581 East Main St to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 309 South Main St Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at funeral home on Sunday evening from 5-7pm.
