WATERBURY – It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of Mrs. Deborah J. (Ventresca) Schlask announce her peaceful passing on Sunday, March 24, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Edward Schlask Jr.

Deborah was born on April 26, 1957 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Joseph and Janet (Petruzzi) Ventresca. She was a graduate of Wilby High School, class of 1975. She and her husband Edward were high school sweethearts and spent over 50 years together.  Deborah will be truly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love her.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory besides her husband of 50 years, is her daughter Jessica Peters and her husband Kristopher of Newport News, VA, and her two granddaughters: Rosalie and Amelia.

Funeral services for Deborah will be held privately at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
