OAKVILLE - Nancy L. MacDonald age 60 of Oakville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family on Saturday, September 17th 2016 after an extended illness. She was the beloved wife of Douglas MacDonald
Nancy was born May 28th 1956 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Anthony Zambiella Sr. and Shirley (Hayes) Zambiella. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and spent many years working at Sperry Manufacturing and more recently as the Office Manager at Quality Automatics in Oakville, She enjoyed gardening and playing bingo at the Oakville, VFW. What brought the greatest joy to Nancy was spending time with her family.
Besides her husband, Douglas of 44 years, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Nicole MacDonald of Oakville, her sister, Susan Cooke and her husband, Kerry and their children, Ryan and Kayleigh all of Oakville, in addition to several other nieces. She is predeceased by her brother, Raymond Vaughan, Anthony Zambiella Jr and her sister, Diane Marcil.
Funeral services for Mrs. MacDonald will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
