NAUGATUCK- Nancy A. Williams, age 84, of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30th 2021 at Beacon Brook Health Care Center in Naugatuck surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after a brief illness.
Nancy was born April 7th 1937 in York, PA, the daughter of the late Charles and Viola (Fullerton) Glosser. Nancy was raised in Pennsylvania and relocated to Connecticut in the 1950's. Nancy spent 37 years working at Timex Corporation as a Gyro Inspector and was a former union representative for the AFL-CIO union. She enjoyed doing crossword and search word puzzles, shopping as well as being an avid fan of country music. Recently, Nancy learned how to use Facebook and became proficient with scrolling through feeds, enjoying keeping up to date with her family and friends. Nancy also enjoyed looking out the window in search of cardinals which she believed were angels saying, hello. What brought the greatest joy to Nancy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her children; sons, Jeffrey Williams and his wife, Shari of N.J,. Randy Williams of TN. Richard Williams and his wife, Deirdre of Waterbury and her daughter, Vicki Shea and her husband, Thomas of Prospect. She also leaves 9 grandchildren and 6 great children as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tammy Williams as well as several brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services for Ms. Williams will be held on Thursday, October 7th 2021 at 12:00 noon at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Relatives and friends may visit with Nancy's family on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. We continue to remain concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services whether you are vaccinated or not.
