Waterbury Nevil A. Saddler age 51 of Montgomery St Waterbury passed away peacefully Saturday October 6th 2012 surrounded by his loving family at the Village Green of Waterbury after an extended illness. He was the husband of Paulette (Edwards) Saddler
Mr. Saddler was born March 10th 1961 in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica; W.I. the son of Audrey Robinson. He grew up in Jamaica where he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative before moving to the Bronx, NY. in 1993 to be with his wife & children. While living in the Bronx he owned and operated the Naspee Fish Island fish market while he attended Apex Technical school where he received his automotive mechanic certificate. He moved to Waterbury with his family in 2004 and opened Naspee automotive where he worked before being stricken with a debilitating illness in 2007. He enjoyed gardening, and cooking, especially barbecuing, and was a gifted handyman. He was a member of the Free Mason St. Mark Lodge #7 in Queens NY.
Besides his loving wife of 29 years, Mr Saddler is survived by his sons Kemian Saddler, of Waterbury, Andre Saddler of Brooklyn, NY, his 5 daughters Kadeisha Cornell, Janielle, Shaina-Saddler-Cotton, Raven, and Fhaneeza Saddler all of Waterbury, two brothers, two sisters, six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mr. Saddler will be held on Friday, October 12th, 2012 at 10:00am at the Beacon of Light Church 65 Industry Lane Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the church on Friday morning from 9:00a.m. until the time of the service. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral home has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
