WATERBURY - Nicholas Giarlella Jr., 73, of Waterbury, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at the Elton Residential Care Home, 30 West Main St., in Waterbury. He was the widower of Mary Giarlella.
Nicholas was born in Waterbury on Dec. 1, 1938. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Helen (Whitney) Giarlella. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Dolores K. Duncan and Joan M. LeVasseur. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
