Mr. Nicholas Sangster

WATERBURY – It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nicholas “Nicky” Adrian Sangster, share the news of his unexpected passing at his home on Wednesday, January 08th, 2025, at the age of 49. Top of Form

 Nicholas was born on September 7, 1975 in Fort Charles, Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica the beloved son of Doxie and Ives (Fair) Sangster. Nicholas attended the Hopewell Primary School and the Newell High School in Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica.

He is survived by parents Doxie and Ives Sangster; siblings Nicola Joseph, O’Mar Sangster, Yanique Sangster, Cleon Sangster, Sadie Sangster, Raygine Sangster and Shakira James-Edwards; spouse Moria Jerman-Sangster; children Swain Sangster, Nickoy Sangster and Nickayla Sangster and step-daughter Celine Blackwood; aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.He was predeceased by a brother Wayne Campbell and all four grand-parents.

Funeral services for Nicholas will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the Sangster family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a repass held at the Wolcott Lions Banquet Hall, 245 Wolcott Road, Wolcott 06716 immediately following the burial.
