Nikki Louise Simon, age 43, of Watertown, passed away suddenly on Thursday January 22, 2009 in her sleep.
Nikki was born November 8, 1965 in Oxnard, CA. the daughter of David Simon of Indiana and Linda (Burkhardt) Romero of Pahrump, NV and lived in Watertown for the past 4 years. She was a graduate of Boise State University and was an avid reader and movie buff who had a wonderful sense of humor and could tell a story like no other. She was also ready, willing, and able to help anyone at anytime for any reason. Nikki was a member of the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was a loving and devoted mother to Frances Marie Nixon-Simon of Watertown, brother to Brian of San Diego, sister to Jennifer Reader of Las Vegas, NV., stepsister to David Simon Jr. of San Diego, and stepdaughter to John Romero of Pahrump, NV. Nikki also leaves and will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.
Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. Friends may call at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frances Simon Education Fund, c/o Naugatuck Savings Bank, 251 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
