THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND SERVING THE FAMILY OF PAMELA MANGAN
WATERBURY - Pamela Mangan age 66 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 7, 2017, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Pamela was born September 7, 1951 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Thomas and Anne (Johnston) Mangan. A graduate of Wilby High School, Pamela was a longtime employee of both Sherwood Medical and Webster Bank before retiring. She also worked as a Sales Associate at Macy's in Meriden. Pamela was devoted to her family, enjoyed bowling, puzzles, crosstich and music but most of all spending time with her great nephew Nathan. She loved her extended family and she will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Pamela is survived by her brother, Thomas Mangan of Waterbury, her sisters-in-law; Kathleen Mangan, Diane Goffredo, Joan Santucci and Deborah Fusco, along with her niece, Kelly Mangan and nephews, Andrew and Corey Mangan. Pamela had a number of extended family members that loved and cared for her including, Stacey Thornton along with many family members from Vermont. Pamela was pre-deceased by her sister, Mary Mangan, along with her longtime companion, Dennis Thornton.
Funeral services for Ms. Mangan will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury, Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Pamela's family on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m until the service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
