OAKVILLE- Paolo Mancini, age 82 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly on August 16, 2016 at Waterbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Carol (Calabrese) Mancini.
Paolo was born March 28, 1934 in Pontelondolfo, Italy, the son of the late Antonio and Donata (Rinaldi) Mancini. Mr. Mancini worked in Production and then as a Custodian at Sherwood Medical for many years until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed gardening and making homemade wine with his family.
He is survived by his children, Paula Hayes and her husband, Stephen of Oakville, Frank Mancini and his wife, Kellie of Lunenberg, MA, his sisters, Verdeline Daddona of Oakville and Yolanda Matarese of Torrington, a brother-in-law, Frank Calabrese of Oakville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Alfred of Torrington and his sister, Furintine of Canada.
