ENJOYED TIME AT THE BEACH WITH FAMILY
WATERBURY - Patricia (Jemele) Brown, age 87 passed away peacefully on Friday August 27, 2021 at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St Mary's Hospital with her family by her side. She was the widow of Thomas Brown
Patricia was born on March 17, 1934 in Waterbury the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Ritucci) Jemele. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Waterbury Catholic High. After raising her family, she worked for a short time at Lerner's in the Naugatuck Valley Mall and then retired from Airpax Inc where she worked in quality control in the factory. She enjoyed making dinner for her family on Sunday's bingo at the Prospect Senior Center and going to the beach in Milford and Westbrook. Most of all she was dedicated to her family most especially her children and grandchildren. She was a parishioner of SS Peter and Paul Church and she will be greatly missed by all who blessed to know and love her. Patricia's family would like to extend their profound gratitude to St Mary's Hospital, 5th Floor Cardiac Care, The Vitas Hospice Unit and Dr. Caparaso for the care and love they shared with Patricia and her family during her illness.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her three sons; Thomas and his late wife, Janice, Kevin and David. She was blessed with 2 grandchildren; Megan and Erin (Phil) Parrow and her great grandson, Max. She was predeceased by her daughter Sharon Brown.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Mary Mother of Church Parish, SS Peter and Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury at 11:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
