WATERBURY - Patricia L. Carnright, age 78, of Waterbury, passed away at her daughter's home on Sunday, April 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the widow of Donald C. Carnright.
Pat was born July 20, 1938 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Theresa (Regis) Shea. She was a loving homemaker who dedicated herself to her family. She was a life- long Waterbury resident and lived in the East End of Waterbury for over 50 years. She was a parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul Church where she was a former member of the Madonna Guild and enjoyed watching classic movies and westerns, but was always happiest when spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson.
Among her survivors are her children; Donna Zuraitis and her husband, Edward Jr of Waterbury, Donald Carnright and his wife, Vicki of Waterbury, and her sister, Fern Summa and her husband, Charles of Cypress, TX. She also leaves her grandchildren, Jared & Tyler Zuraitis and her great grandson, Aiden. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Pat's family would like to thank and acknowledge Doctor Edmund Quinn and the Rehab Staff at Meridian Manor as well as the nurses and staff at Seasons Hospice for all the care and support they provided to Pat and her family during her illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carnright will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church 64 Southmayd Rd Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and family may visit with Patricia's family on Thursday evening from 5:00 ~7:00 om at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury.
