AT THE ONEILL FUNERAL HOME - Patricia L. (LaVine) Deary, age 61, of Norway St Oakville, died unexpectedly on Thursday at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of George Deary.
Patricia was born December 14, 1947 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Patrick and Virginia (Pontenziani) LaVine. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and spent her life caring for her husband, sons and grandsons. She was an active parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church where she was also a youth minister.
Besides her devoted husband, Patricia leaves two sons John C. Deary and his wife Claudia of Oakville and James P. Deary also of Oakville, two brothers, Gene LaVine of Watertown and Mark LaVine of Oakville and her sister, Joanne Daveluy of Prospect. She also leaves two grandsons, Joseph and Michael Deary and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Deary will be held on Monday April 6, 2009 at 8 a.m. from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street to Saint Mary Magdalen Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
