TORRINGTON - Patricia M. Derouin, age 77 of Winsted, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28th 2016 at Valerie Manor Health Care Center in Torrington after an extended illness surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.
Patricia was born July 17th 1938 in Wolcott, CT the daughter of the late Timothy and Anna (Winslow) Moynihan. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and spent many years working as a data processor for Fleisher Finishing and more recently at Yankee News. She was an avid reader and a former member of the Holy Cross Mothers Club. What brought the most joy to Patricia was spending time with her family and friends.
Among her survivors are her children, Timothy Derouin of Waterbury, Jeffery Derouin of Torrington, Brett Derouin and his wife, Jennifer of Plainfield, IL; her daughter Joyanna Devanney and her husband, Damien of Winsted. Her sister Eileen Moynihan of Cape Cod, MA; Her grandchildren Jacob, Luke, Daniel, Devon, and Brody as well as her close family friend Irene Barcekowski.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Derouin will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00am at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury, CT 06705. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Patricia's family on Friday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers memorial donation in Patricia's memory can be made to the ARC of Litchfield at LARC 314 Main St Torrington, CT 06790.
