MIDDLEBURY - Patrick C. Barton, age 59, slipped into his eternal rest on Monday, September 16, 2019 at his home.
Patrick, born in Waterbury, June 16th 1960, the son of the late Francis and Ruth (Farrell) Barton Middlebury, CT. Patrick was a graduate of St. Mary's Grammar School and Holy Cross High School Waterbury, CT. Pat was known for having a way with words and being quick with a smile. Pat's work ethic was legendary in the local paving companies that he worked for over the years.
Pat is survived by his companion, Kathy Eibenstener, his former wife, Nancy Brown Barton of Danbury, his brother, Francis L Barton Jr and his wife, Mary (Greene) of Middlebury, CT., his sisters, Theresa Prescott and husband, Alan of Greenfield MA., brother Timothy Barton. He also leaves Uncle Thomas and Rose Barton of Bradenton FL., his aunt, Major Joanne Barton, Retired U. S. Army Nurse, El Paso TX, aunt, Florence Barton of Naugatuck, CT, and aunt, Sister Teresa of the Congregation of Notre Dame, Bronx, NY., his nephews, Francis and Sean Barton of Middlebury, Ryan and Josh McDaniel and also many beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Patrick's life will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10:00 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John of the Cross Church, 1263 West Street, Middlebury, CT 06762. Family and friends may visit with Patrick's family at St. John of the Cross Church on Friday, September 27, 2019 between 9:00 and 9:45 a.m. prior to the Mass. To honor Patrick's memory and in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution or donation to Middlebury Boy Scout Troop 444, C/O Fran Barton P.O.
