THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF PAUL E. DUFOUR
Oakville - Paul E. Dufour, 81, of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2020. He was the loving husband of 42 years to Donna (Evans) Dufour.
Paul was born March 8, 1938 in Frenchville, ME to Henry and Anna (Lango) Dufour. Paul was a proud veteran, entering the United States Army at just 18 years old. He served in Germany with the 3rd Armour Division. After being honorably discharged from the military, Paul had a talent for construction, working at several companies over the years such as Carmine, Gianni, Bart, Larusso and Sons.
Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. There was nothing more important to him than family. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy are his children, John Dufour and his wife Tammy, James Delaney, Rob Delaney and his wife Carolyn, Donna Evans and her husband John, Linda (Dufour) Clark, and David Dufour; his sisters, Mary, Helen, Anita, Ceil; his brothers, Phillip, Henry, Rosaire, Gerald, and Roger, as well as, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by his siblings, Maryann, Adiline, Clifford; and his children, Raymond Dufour and Diane Dufour.
Funeral services with full military honors, will be held on Friday March 13, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, to honor Paul's memory, donations to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 161 N. Clark, Suite 3550, Chicago, Illinois 60601, would be greatly appreciated.
