AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME- Paul M. Elko age 57 of Elmview Circle, Waterbury died Monday June 23 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a long battle with a heart condition. He was the husband of Margaret (Marco) Elko.
Paul was born March 9, 1951 in Seymour, a son of the late Paul and Genevieve (Natawich) Elko and lived in Waterbury most of his life. He was educated in Seymour Schools. Paul was employed at Eyelet Design Inc. in Waterbury.
Besides his wife of 37 years of Waterbury who he loved dearly, he leaves a son Brandon Elko and his wife Jill of Oakville, two daughters Kathleen Elko and her fiancé Angel Gonzalez of Waterbury, Lori Elko and her fiancé Johnathan Humphrey of Waterbury, a sister Maryann Borgesano of Seymour and many nieces and nephews and many friends who he couldn't live without. He will be watching over his grandchildren, the loves of his life Staci, Maiya, Tony, Kieresten, Brianna, Noah, Allen, Elijah and Kylie, also Jayvon Mason, Chelsea Sullivan and Sophie Sullivan who looked up to him as a grandfather.
Funeral Wednesday June 25 at 12 noon at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury.
