WATERBURY- It is with profound sorrow that the family of Mr. Paul A. Panadis age 92, share news of his peaceful passing on April 6, 2025 at the Complete Care of Middlebury. He was surrounded by the love and comfort of his family in his final days. He was a cherished father and grandfather and was the widower of Therese Panadis.
Paul was born in Odanak, Canada, on May 15, 1932, the son of the late Gustave and Alice Panadis. He attended local schools and before moving to Connecticut, he spent time as a fishing guide in Canada. He moved to Waterbury where he went on to work for over 30 years at Martin J. Kelly Tree Company. Paul enjoyed creating a variety of arts and crafts and watching cowboy movies. He was very proud of his indigenous heritage and was part of the Abenaki nation. He had a true warrior spirit and a strong will to live. What he loved the most was spending time with his family and helping them well into his older years. He will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his children; Paul J. Panadis, Michele Panadis, and Lise Panadis. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren; Amanda (Edward) Schreiner, Taylor Wagner, Emily Wagner, and his great grandson Eddie, along with extended family and friends.
