THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF PAULETTE JACKSON.
WATERBURY - Ms. Paulette Renee Jackson, age 57, entered into eternal rest at Waterbury Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2022 after a brief, unexpected illness.
Paulette was born February 14, 1964 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Reverend Lena Mae (Stevenson) and Deacon Abner Jackson. Paulette was a graduate of Wilby High School and also attended Southern Connecticut State University. She was employed by the KMART Corporation in Waterbury, CT and then Paulette spent the last 35 years employed with Bank of America. Paulette had an infectious laugh that everyone truly appreciated. She was very generous to anyone that she thought needed help. She was a loving caregiver to everyone in need. Paulette loved to cook for her family and friends. It was just her nature to prepare a home cooked meal and then call you to come over. If you were unable to go out, she would bring the meal to you. The highlight of her life was spending time with her closest friends which are known as the "Golden Girls". She truly cherished her relationship with her cousins, Annette Jackson and Cal Robinson whom she referred to as her brother and sister. Paulette enjoyed going to the casinos, as she would call and say "Let's Ride or Die"! She enjoyed spending time with her friend Maria, who also opened up her home to Paulette after her brief hospital stay. The family thanks her from the bottom of their hearts. Most of all she enjoyed having pajama parties with her great niece, Aubrey Perez.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her two sisters; Talsia Machelle Jackson and Tonya Lisa (Jackson) Riddick both of Waterbury, CT, one brother-in-law, Walter Ervin Riddick of Waterbury. Three nephews; Darryl Johnson, David Johnson, and Calvin Riddick (Becky), all of Waterbury, Two nieces; Tonya Monique Riddick of Raleigh North Carolina and Briana Henderson of Waterbury. Her Aunt Gertrude Campbell of Paterson New Jersey, and her uncle, Clarence Jackson of Darlington, South Carolina, along with many great nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Paulette was predeceased by her beloved sister, Mae Leona Johnson
