WATERBURY– Pedro L. Madera Flores, age 83 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at St. Marys Hospital
Pedro was born on August 1, 1939 in Ponce Puerto Rico the son of the late Luis Madera and Helena Flores. He was educated in Puerto Rico and after emigrating to the United States he held many jobs in the area, most recently a livery driver. Pedro will undoubtedly be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, are his children: Ruthie, Blanca, Deborah, Pedro Jr.. Helena, Esbeey Luis and Peter. Pedro also leaves his siblings; Carmen, Pablo, Angel, Hector, Jesus, Felicita, Irma, Miriam, Rev Arturo Madera, Maria and Nancy as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family members and friends.
Funeral services for Pedro Will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 12 noon at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St Waterbury CT 06705. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Pedro’s family on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the service at noon.
