WATERBURY- Pedro A Saavedra age 39, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 8th 2021 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness.
Pedro was born January 4th 1982 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, the son of Zenaida R. Liciaga and the late Pedro Saavedra. Pedro attended local schools and was working as a warehouse packer at Macy's Warehouse. Pedro was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and listening to music and was always happiest while visiting with his family and friends.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his mother, Zenaida are his brother, "Bam-Bam" his aunts; Luz M. Liciaga of Hartford, Diana M. Liciaga of Atlanta, GA, Luz E. Muniz of Naugatuck, and Judith Saaverda of Puerto Rico. He also leaves his uncles; Samuel Liciaga and Rafael A. Liciaga as well as many niece's, nephews and many friends including Tina Taylor and Miguel Bravo Jr.
A memorial gathering in honor of Mr. Saavedra will be held on Sunday August 15th 2021 from 2:30 to 5:30 pm at his families home at 1924 East Main St 3rd Floor Waterbury, CT 06705. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1987 East Main St Waterbury. has been honored to care for Pedro and the Saavedra Liciaga families.
