WATERBURY - Peter. Gaetano, age 64, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, May 6, 2019.
Peter was born on October 19, 1957 in Waterbury the son of Mary Ann Gaetano and the late Carmine Gaetano. He was educated in local schools and was employed for many years in the food service industry. He was a happy go lucky person, always willing to lend a helping hand who lived a care free life on his terms. Peter was a longtime parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Besides his mother of Wolcott, Ron leaves his daughter and his brothers and sister: Robert of Waterbury Richard and John of Waterbury, Frank of Bethlehem and his sister, Lori Cronin of Wolcott. He also leaves many special friends, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald in 2014.
Funeral services for Mr. Gaetano will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly to the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
