Peter was truly one of a kind. He made the world a better place for all of us and we are thankful to have had him in our lives while we did. Peter enjoyed life to the fullest blessed by his loving family and friends. He was a loyal Mets – LGM! – and UConn Huskies fan. He loved fishing any time of the year and playing horseshoes. Peter loved his family and always looked forward to Macary family reunions, which took place in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Peter’s favorite saying was “Keep the faith” ; his family will do that and they ask all others to do the same.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory, besides his wife of 34 years, are his children: son, Daniel Macary (Stephanie Vadnais); his daughter, Chelsea Macary and her fiancée Christopher Urbas; his daughter, Amber Macary, and his step-daughter, Monica (Wilkas) Morgan. He also leaves his brothers: Paul (Bridget), Richard (Jean), Matthew (Laura), Andrew (Sandy), Patrick (Stephanie), and his stepdad Louis Federico.
